OpenCode

Install OpenCode and add Floodgate as a custom provider.

OpenCode can use all Floodgate models through one custom provider.

1. Install OpenCode

macOS, Linux, or WSL

curl -fsSL https://opencode.ai/install | bash

2. Set your API key

export FLOODGATE_API_KEY="YOUR_API_KEY"

PowerShell:

$env:FLOODGATE_API_KEY = "YOUR_API_KEY"

3. Add the provider

Create ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json. You can alternatively place opencode.json inside your project root.

4. Run OpenCode

cd /path/to/your/project
opencode

Run /models inside the OpenCode TUI to switch between models under Floodgate.

For the best general coding experience, use floodgate/gpt-6-sol or floodgate/claude-opus-5-5. Switch to floodgate/deepseek-v4.1-flash or floodgate/gpt-6-luna for ultra-fast, budget-conscious completions.
